So let’s talk about connection and work!
I’m an excitable, talk with enthusiasm, lets go over th.….ohhh squirrel!….wait! this is the perfect spot don’t move….kinda girl. My brain works overtime, sometimes faster than my mouth can keep up. I’m looking at the whole picture, the lighting, the scene, you as the couple, the love- and my goal for every single one of you is to give you art.
Art for your heart and art for your walls.
Perhaps my favourite part is connecting with people like you. Really learning what you’re about, what’s your story, what’s your love story, what are your dreams and of course, all about your vision. And I love being part of it! I often open up messages and emails from my couples to just tell me how it’s going, share with me their exciting centerpieces they made, or just to ask me questions about how they can make the most of their coverage and their day.
We get to laugh and have some fun during your engagement session and that gives us both an idea of what to expect on the big day. I’ll guide you, give you prompts and directions and help bring out the moments that showcase who you are and why we’re here in the first place.

Choosing the vendors that feel like a fit for YOU, as a couple, is the most important part. When you start to worry about what everyone else will think, how everyone else will feel, what everyone else’s opinion is, it can start to feel less and less like your day and bring in stress of being pulled in so many directions.

I GET IT! You want everyone to feel happy and take everyone’s thoughts and feelings into account. But here’s where I might say something that feels harsh, but I promise it isn’t meant to be.

Stop worrying. Stop caring.

Put yourself and your partner at the top of the list and leave it at that.

I should warn you; we will probably become friends haha! At the very least, my excitement and happiness for you doesn’t end when the day is finished and the photos are delivered.
I’ll excitedly watch your lives unfold on social media; congratulate you on accomplishments, celebrate milestones and news, and genuinely be excited for your lives and your future.

Of course, I’m not saying be rude or ignore everyone, but what matters is how YOU feel and what YOU want. Imagine choosing a vendor because everyone else says is best, then finding out their style, their ideals, their personality are completely in opposite contrast to yours.
